Invitation to take part in the EuroRoadS Forum
The
main purpose of the EuroRoadS Forum is to support the
implementation and exploitation of results from the EuroRoadS
project, which was successfully finalised during the autumn
2006. The EuroRoadS Forum is open for all providers and users of
road data!
Memorandum of UnderstandingThe Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) defines the details of the EuroRoadS Forum. By completing the form with requested information, signing the MoU and returning the agreement - your organisation will formally be part of the EuroRoadS Forum and thereby be a member of the Management Group. All organisations stating an interest in taking an active part in the EuroRoadS Forum will be invited to EuroRoadS Forum on Projectplace, which is a web based management service where all documents on the EuroRoadS Forum will be shared. Work plan 2007-2008The EuroRoadS Forum has agreed to promote and exploit results from the EuroRoadS-project by addressing a number of activities. A EuroRoadS Forum core team, with representatives from the Swedish Road Administration, Norwegian Public Roads Administration, PTV (Germany) and Lantmäteriet (National Land Survey of Sweden), has presented a work plan for 2007-2008. |

EuroRoadS - a topic on ESRI Eurupean User Conference
ESRI User Conference 2007 was arranged in
Stockholm on 26-28 September 2007. Several of the sessions were
devoted to presentations of how to handle national road
databases, ITS, GIS for logistics and solutions for
environmental noise management.
During these sessions the EuroRoadS project was presented as well as practical use of results from the project. The EuroRoadS data model is, for example, implemented in ESRI based software and several applications using results from the project were presented. SDIC
EuroRoadS Forum is registered as a so called Spatial Data Interest
Community (SDIC) for INSPIRE within the European Commission. This
