Closing Workshop

"Making EuroRoadS happen"

The EuroRoadS Closing workshop: “Making EuroRoadS happen” was held on 27 June 2006 in Brussels. The workshop attracted more than 50 participants from 35 organisations within public and private sector, representing 15 European countries.

The aim of the workshop was to demonstrate project results, share experiences and discuss recommendations for the next steps to achieve a European road data infrastructure.

A presentation on EuroRoadS objectives and
results where followed by a demonstrations and presentations on case studies and discussions on how to make EuroRoadS happen by implementing and exploiting the results.

The discussions were introduced by a panel addressing high priority issues for the deployment of EuroRoadS
and EuroRoadS contribution to different stakeholders.
