Evaluation and quality control
Objectives
The objective is to:
- Prepare a common model describing the safe guarded data flow from acquisition and updating of the digital map up to the final application
- Establish a safe guarded quality insurance concept for a homogeneous description and evaluation of information quality during the complete data flow
- Elaborating of concepts for safeguarding of quality for the complete data processing chain. Existing quality models and quality safety concepts have to be considered and harmonised as far as possible.
Description of work
The work package will consist of the following work:
1. Evaluation Methodology
Development of an evaluation methodology based on the CONVERGE guidelines. Design a comprehensive set of validation objectives for the evaluation of the performances, of the system at the different test sites.
2. Quality frame for information
Analysing of information structures for specified services leads to the specification of a quality frame.
3. Probabilistic model of information chain
Developing of a probabilistic model to describe and evaluate the complete information chain starting from public data sources via the private map manufactures up to the mobility services. On the basis of the quality of each data source the information quality of mobility services will be determined.
4. Quality management concept
Analysis of the information process in the information chain. Formulation of a quality management concept to fulfil the quality requirements of the specified services.
5. Evaluation schema
Developing of an evaluation schema to evaluate the real information quality of the demonstrators. Analysing the reached information quality.
